Estimate preparation
Prepare for a Cleanout Estimate
A few concrete details make the estimate conversation faster and reduce surprises on arrival.
Bring these six details
- The property address and type of space
- Rooms or areas included in the cleanout
- Photos from each doorway plus large-item closeups
- Stairs, elevator, gate, parking, and carrying distance
- Items that stay or still need a decision
- The date and final condition needed
Flag exception items
Call out paint, chemicals, fuel, propane, batteries, medical material, compressed cylinders, unknown liquids, data-bearing electronics, and anything unusually heavy. Acceptance must be confirmed before scheduling.
Define the finish
State whether the job ends when selected contents are removed, when shelves and cabinets are empty, or after a broom-clean pass. Put that finish condition in the written scope.
